These are some of the exhibitions I've participated in and examples of my work that was shown.
This is "Stratas", one of my pieces that will be in a storefront on Station Street in Frankston, Australia. After that the show will head to Bogota, Columbia for another showing at La Casa Verde in August. Mixed media on paper, 22x30".
This is "Effaced", my piece that was given a Special Commendation award in this show of portraits, oil on paper, 10x10".

This is "I See You", one of the pieces I sent to Belgium for this physical show of collages on post-it notes, a special project for World Collage Day. Found paper on a post-it note, 3x3".
All the collages in this show will be at De Krook, the library and cultural centre in Ghent, Belgium. A selection of the collages will be printed as Post-it blocks.
This is "Walk In My Sushi-Shoes", my piece that was accepted for this online and physical show of collage concentrated in a circle. Found paper, 9x12".

This is "Exuberance", one of my two pieces that were accepted for this show that explores the artistic relationship with flora and fauna in nature. Mixed media (found paper, cardboard and fabric), 7x10".

"Mixed Metaphors", April 1-30, 2022
In this juried show the theme was to be used as a starting point. My collage is a boat and someone lost at sea as a metaphor for the confusion we can sometimes feel about life and what's happening around us.
My piece in the show is this mixed media work made of found paper, pieces of my own artwork, acrylic paint and pencil, "Lost at Sea“, 10x11".

12th Painting & Mixed Media Competition 2021-2022, Dec. 15, 2021 - March 25, 2022
This annual international competition showcases the work of 115 artists from 33 countries. It promotes contact between artists, art lovers and collectors. The works must be no bigger than 6x6".
One of my pieces in the show is this mixed-media work, "Last Leaves 1".
"Paintings, Prints and a Mixture of Both", Dec. 1-31, 2021
An online solo show of 22 pieces I've done over the past 2 or 3 months. This exhibit showcases work made using a combination of painting and printmaking techniques. I love to experiment!
This mixed media piece is called “Defiance“ (ink, watercolour and graphite on paper, 7x8.5").

This is one of my pieces in this annual small-format show, Chacha 2, oil on board, 6x6". The other 2 are under "Recent Work" (Chacha 1 and Chacha 3).
This is one of 12 pieces I have in the show, "Silhouette silencieuse", oil on linen, 8x10". All my work is recent except for 1 print and 1 painting from 2020.

This is my piece that was accepted for this show, "Light and Dark", a 5x7" monoprint (oil-based ink on paper). Members of the Monotype Guild of New England and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society were invited to submit monoprints for this juried exhibition.

This is one of my pieces in the show, "Blue Bow", a 9x9" monoprint (ink and graphite on paper). The work had to be no larger than 11x14" to fit in a Priority Post envelope so it could be sent via the USPS.

This monoprint, "Dreamworld", received an Honorary Mention in the show. 12x16", ink and pastel on rice paper. There's also a short video clip of me talking about my work on the website. https://stamfordartassociation.org/
The exhibit honors Faber Birren, world renowned color theorist and former Stamford, CT resident. He wrote extensively on color and published 40 books and over 250 articles on the subject.
This is my piece in the show, "Dislocation", a 4x6" collage. I focussed more on the idea of patterns of line and colour but there are also several different textures in this piece.
